The HVB glove box is a high-vacuum glove box designed for performing welding in a controlled atmosphere, in particular for titanium welding in the aerospace sector. The equipment consists of a hermetic chamber and a side load-lock for material introduction.

Key features

• Monolithic AISI 316 structure, 6 mm thickness, with integrated external vertical and horizontal ribs; internal corners rounded with 10 mm radius; internal and external welds ground with 2B satin finish
• Equipped with a load-lock (precamera) of Ø 300 mm with double inner and outer vertically tilting doors
• Front and rear walls with 2 viewports, 2 flanges with gloves and closing ports
• Top wall with 2 viewports fitted with LEDs for work area illumination
• Left wall equipped with a door and CF40 flanged feedthroughs
• Vacuum system with 28 m3/h pump and Edwards sensors
• Automatic inerting regulation system
• Dew point measurement and control instrument
• Oxygen measurement and control instrument
