Description

Product Overview
Labotemp Refrigerated Benchtop Centrifuge LRC-205 is a high-speed refrigerated centrifuge built for clinical, molecular biology and research laboratories. It delivers up to 22,000 rpm (max RCF 34,090 × g) with precise temperature control from -9°C to +35°C (±1°C). The unit features a TFT touch screen, programmable workflows, USB data traceability (>1000 records), UV chamber sterilization and multiple safety protections including imbalance detection, automatic lid locking, lid interlock and overspeed protection.

Key Benefits
  • Ultra-high speed separation up to 22,000 rpm for rapid sample processing
  • Refrigerated operation with ±1°C temperature accuracy to protect sensitive biological materials
  • Integrated biosafety features: UV sterilization, gas-tight sealing options and instant disinfection at startup
  • Programmable operation, run storage and USB traceability for reproducibility and regulatory compliance
  • Multiple rotor compatibility and corrosion-resistant chamber for flexible laboratory workflows

Features
  • UV chamber sterilization and instant startup disinfection
  • Microprocessor-based control with real-time monitoring (RTC)
  • Frequency-conversion drive for stable, low-maintenance operation
  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel chamber and impact-resistant housing
  • High-strength aluminium alloy rotors; many rotors and autoclavable options
  • TFT touch screen interface with programmable programs and password-protected data communication
  • Automatic rotor identification, overspeed protection and active imbalance detection with automatic shutdown
  • Adjustable acceleration/deceleration (1–10 rates) and controlled lid opening with drop protection
  • Emergency lid release on power interruption and viewing port for operational monitoring
  • Gas-tight sealing compatible with high-temperature sterilization processes

Applications
  • Refrigerated high-speed separation of DNA, RNA, proteins and cells
  • Clinical diagnostics and hospital laboratories requiring controlled RCF and thermal stability
  • Pharmaceutical and biotechnology sample preparation under sterile, traceable conditions
  • Molecular biology research demanding high-speed precision and contamination control
  • Blood processing and analytical workflows with reproducibility and data logging needs
