OverviewBOND ancillaries are designed for use with Leica Biosystems fully automated BOND systems (BOND-MAX and BOND-III). The BOND Enzyme Pretreatment Kit is intended to support development and validation workflows for BOND ready-to-use primary antibodies and ISH probes.
Product detailsBOND Enzyme Pretreatment Kit contains an enzyme concentrate and an enzyme diluent that must be mixed and diluted prior to use. Dilution is performed in the supplied BOND Open Containers. The resulting diluted enzyme solution is applied on the automated BOND system for controlled enzymatic digestion of tissue sections.
Applications- Immunohistochemistry (IHC) – Enzymatic pretreatment on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections to assist epitope exposure and improve staining for some antibodies by unmasking fixation-masked epitopes.
- In Situ Hybridization (ISH) – Diluted enzyme solution used with BOND ready-to-use probes to facilitate probe penetration and binding through controlled tissue digestion.
Contents / Kit composition- Enzyme concentrate
- Enzyme diluent
- BOND Open Containers (for dilution and use on BOND systems)
Attachments- SDS (safety data sheet)
- IFU (instructions for use)
Availability- Available for sale in many countries worldwide; contact your local Leica Biosystems representative for specific availability.
Intended useFor in vitro diagnostic use. The diluted enzyme solution is intended for enzymatic digestion of FFPE tissue sections to assist epitope exposure for IHC and to aid probe penetration in ISH assays when used with BOND ready-to-use probes.
