Overview
The Leica EM AFS2 performs freeze substitution and progressive lowering of temperature (PLT) and enables low-temperature embedding and resin polymerization for correlated light and electron microscopy workflows. When paired with the optional Leica EM FSP automated reagent handling system, the AFS2 automates dilution and dispensing of reagents. Internal chamber LED illumination and the attached stereomicroscope facilitate sample viewing and accurate positioning.
