Description

This monoclonal antibody enables specific detection of mouse IgG1 in immunoassays such as ELISpot and ELISA. Recommendation MG1 is recommended as detection mAb in ELISpot in combination with capture mAbs MT24/JC5-1 (product code 3876-3) or with coated antigen. The antibody is also suitable for antigen-specific ELISA Product details Application - ELISpot, ELISA Analyte - IgG1 Conjugate - Biotin Immunogen - Native mouse IgG Host - Rat Reactivity - Mouse Specificity - Mouse IgG1 Cross-reactivity - No cross-reactivity (less than 0.1%) with mouse IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c (IgG2a analogue in e.g. C57BL/6 and NOD mice), IgG3, IgA, IgE, IgM or with IgG from rat, goat, rabbit, cow, and human. Purification - Purified from in vitro cultures by protein G affinity chromatography. Biotinylation - Biotinylated through reaction with a N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin. Concentration - 0.5 mg/ml Supplied in - PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. Sterile-filtered (0.2 µm). Contents - Monoclonal antibody MG1, biotinylated. Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. Analyte description Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the most abundant immunoglobulin isotype in serum, making up approximately 80% of all serum Immunoglobulins. In humans, there are four subclasses of IgG with the highest serum concentrations of IgG1, followed by IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4.In mice, the IgG subclasses are defined as IgG1, IgG2a/c, IgG2b, and IgG3. IgG1 binds to Fc receptors with high affinity and may also activate the complement system.
