This monoclonal antibody enables specific detection of human IgG2 in antigen-specific ELISA. Recommendation HP6200 is recommended in antigen-specific ELISA. Product details Product - Anti-human IgG2 mAb (HP6200), unconjugated Conjugate - Unconjugated Immunogen - Native human IgG2 Host - Mouse Reactivity - Human Cross-reactivity - No cross-reactivity (less than 0.1%) with human IgG1, IgG3, IgG4, IgA, IgE, IgM or with IgG from mouse, rat, goat, rabbit, and cow. Less than 1% cross-reactivity with IgG from rhesus and cynomolgus macaque. Purification - Purified from in vitro cultures by protein G affinity chromatography. Concentration - 0.5 mg/ml Supplied in - PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. Sterile-filtered (0.2 µm). Contents - Monoclonal antibody HP6200, unconjugated. Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide. Analyte description Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the most abundant Ig isotype in serum, making up approximately 80% of all serum Immunoglobulins. In humans, there are four subclasses of IgG, with the highest serum concentrations of IgG1 followed by IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4. IgG2 is a poor activator of Fc receptors.
