Overview
The REAL 9100 is a postural support chair from the Mercado Medic range, designed to support independence and postural management for users with diverse needs. The modular seating system adapts to different body shapes and clinical conditions and can be configured from basic to fully specified.

Adjustability and sizing
Seat sizes range from 29x32 cm (WxD) up to 56x53 cm. Backrest sizes range from 27x22 cm (WxH) up to 50x60 cm. The seat, backrest and armrests are fully adjustable so the chair can be sized to the user or configured larger to accommodate future needs.

Use and applications
Intended for independent active living in indoor environments: supports daily activities such as cooking, eating, personal care, transfers, work and study while addressing posture-related risks. The design can be specified to resemble an office chair or customised to the user's preferences.

Safety and accessories
A unique safety brake raises the rear wheels off the floor rather than braking on the wheels, reducing tipping risk and stabilising the chair for transfers. Accessories such as headrests, trunk supports, belts, hip guides and footplates can be factory-fitted or retrofitted to the modular chair.
