High-Temperature Dry Block for Efficient Sample Concentration The 30 Position MULTIVAP (Catalog# 11830) is a high-performance nitrogen blowdown evaporator designed to concentrate large batches of samples quickly and efficiently. Ideal for life sciences and pharmaceutical applications, it is optimized for wide, flat-bottomed tubes such as 20 mL scintillation vials. This evaporator features a rectangular gas distribution manifold mounted on a dual-post assembly. Nitrogen gas is delivered through needles or glass pipettes, directing the flow onto the sample surface for rapid evaporation. To conserve nitrogen, each row of five samples has an individual toggle switch, enabling you to shut off gas flow for smaller batches. The adjustable flow meter and built-in pressure regulator ensure precise nitrogen control. The 30 Position MULTIVAP uses a heated aluminum dry block that reaches temperatures from 30°C to 120°C, providing uniform heat transfer for efficient evaporation. The system is customizable with inserts for sample vials with outside diameters from 10–30 mm. If you need different vial sizes, additional inserts can be ordered. For custom insert creation, we require either three sample vials or precise vial measurements upon ordering. An unheated version is available for ambient temperature evaporation. This model is resistant to organic solvents, with acid-resistant options available for corrosive applications.
