The 64 Position MULTIVAP (Catalog# 11364) is a high-throughput nitrogen blowdown evaporator designed for laboratories handling large batches of samples in uniform vial sizes. Its water bath design ensures gentle, even heating—ideal for applications such as LC-MS or GC-MS sample preparation in analytical, pharmaceutical, and environmental labs.
This model features a fixed-position gas manifold mounted on a dual-post frame, distributing nitrogen through stainless steel needles or optional glass pipettes to direct gas across the sample surface. Rapid evaporation is achieved through this controlled nitrogen flow combined with water bath heating up to 100°C. For flexibility, toggle switches on each row of eight samples allow users to deactivate unused sections, conserving gas during smaller runs. A built-in pressure regulator and adjustable flow meter provide precise control over gas delivery.
Sample racks are custom machined to support vial diameters from 11–30 mm, ensuring excellent thermal contact and consistent evaporation. To build your system, either provide three representative vials or exact measurements. Unheated models are available for ambient evaporations, and acid-resistant versions can be supplied for corrosive solvents.
