High-Temperature Dry Block Evaporator for Large Batch Sample Concentration The 48 Position MULTIVAP (Catalog# 11848) is a high-performance nitrogen evaporator designed for efficient solvent evaporation in large batches. Ideal for life sciences and pharmaceutical labs, it features a rectangular gas distribution system with dual post assembly. Nitrogen gas is delivered to the sample surface via needles or glass pipettes, promoting rapid evaporation and sample concentration. To optimize nitrogen use, the manifold includes toggle switches for every row of six samples, allowing you to shut off rows for smaller batches. The adjustable flow meter and built-in pressure regulator ensure precise control of nitrogen gas flow, enhancing evaporation efficiency. The 48 Position MULTIVAP utilizes a heated aluminum dry block to achieve temperatures from 30°C to 120°C, ensuring uniform heat distribution for consistent sample evaporation. The instrument is equipped with custom sample blocks and inserts, which are tailored to fit vials with diameters between 10-22 mm. Inserts can be ordered for other vial sizes if needed. For custom insert creation, we request either three sample vials or precise measurements of the vials. An unheated version is available for ambient temperature evaporation. The 48 Position MULTIVAP is resistant to organic solvents, with acid-resistant models available for corrosive applications.
