Overview
Our basketball wheelchairs are developed with input from athletes, coaches and clubs to deliver lightweight, highly manoeuvrable and responsive performance on court. Constructed from durable, lightweight materials, the chairs provide the strength, stability and agility required for competitive wheelchair basketball. We offer bespoke made-to-measure wheelchairs alongside standard Club models, with options to suit players of all abilities and competition levels.

Made to Measure - Key Features

• Wheels: Available with 24", 25" & 26" Spinergy wheels.
• Frame: Can be constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium (7020), titanium or ultra-lightweight magnesium.
• Anti-tip castors: Available with single or double anti-tip castors with stepless adjustment.
• Offensive wings: Integrated offensive wings for play-specific performance.

Adjustability & Comfort

• Footrest: Fixed footrest with calf strap and foot strap.
• Castor forks: Fitted with micro-castor forks.
• Upholstery: Adjustable tension upholstery for improved support.
• Seat plate: Features a patented torsion seat plate.

Additional Features

• Side guards: Welded side guards for a secure, durable design.
• Ratchet straps: Supplied with ratchet straps.
• Seat cushion: Includes an ergonomic seat cushion for enhanced comfort.

Club Range - Features

• Wheels: 24" quick-release sport wheels for Club models.
• Anti-tip castor: Single adjustable anti-tip castor.
• Seat widths: Available in 360 mm, 410 mm & 460 mm.
• Upholstery: Adjustable upholstery as standard.
• Frame: Robust steel frame (Club range) with adjustable axle position.

Performance Configuration & Options

• Configure with single or double adjustable anti-tip castors with stepless adjustment.
• Available axle and wheel configuration options to suit playing style and responsiveness, including axle position adjustment.
• Material choices (aluminium, titanium, magnesium) to tune weight versus stiffness and cost.

Prescription & Fitting
Made-to-measure chairs are supported by a prescription form and Vulcan’s Contour Body Mapping (CBM) system to capture precise body measurements for a tailored fit. CBM creates a detailed digital profile used to build a personalised wheelchair with measurement accuracy to 2 mm.
