Overview
Vulcan dance wheelchairs combine sports wheelchair engineering with a compact, responsive design developed specifically for wheelchair dance. They deliver smooth movement, rapid directional changes and controlled spins, suitable for club, grassroots, intermediate and professional dance applications.

Made to Measure
Vulcan provides made-to-measure solutions using a precise prescription and measurement process. Made-to-measure and prescription models can be fitted with lightweight Spinergy SPOX wheels to improve propulsion efficiency. Custom solutions can be developed using the Contour Body Mapping system for a personalised fit.

Contour Body Mapping (CBM) ®
Vulcan’s Contour Body Mapping system captures precise body measurements (approx. 2mm accuracy) to create a detailed digital profile used to tailor sports wheelchairs for optimal comfort and performance.

Both club and made-to-measure options are offered: club chairs are steel-constructed with quick-release road wheels and stage-friendly finishes; made-to-measure chairs offer aircraft-grade materials, Spinergy wheel choices and bespoke engineering for individual dancers.
