Product introductionBarium sulfate bricks are manufactured from multiple oxides and sulfates, cement, selected rare-earth additives and reinforced with plant fibers. They are designed for fixed radiation shielding applications in medical environments and renovation projects requiring lead-equivalent protection.
Product performance- Stable physical and chemical performance; suitable for surface finishing; fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, oxidation-resistant and impact-resistant; non-toxic and environmentally acceptable. Applicable for hospitals and other sites requiring radiation protection renovation.
- High specific gravity yields effective radiation attenuation. On-site construction and installation must follow process specifications to ensure shielding performance meets design requirements.
- Halogen-free, low-smoke, non-dripping, acid-resistant and odorless; dimensionally stable with no expansion, high decomposition temperature and no corrosive effect on adjacent facilities—suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant and radiation shielding applications.
Technical parameters- Standard dimensions: 120 mm × 240 mm × 50 mm
- Barium content: ≥98%
- Density: 4080 kg/m³
