The DHP Series is a validated, turnkey air lock for hydrogen peroxide vapor (HPV) biodecontamination. It is designed to support uniform vapor distribution, rapid aeration, and high throughput. This low-temperature process targets a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6 for prevention of contamination.
Typical loads
Suitable for biodecontamination of a wide range of items, including:
Packaged single-use materials
Packaged drug delivery devices
Packaged stainless steel instruments
Machine parts, small stainless-steel containers
Electronic devices
Various laboratory materials made of glass or plastic
Double inflatable door gaskets
Independently controlled double gaskets provide a robust seal to limit leakage and support consistent containment. This helps maintain separation between areas and reduces risk from pressure loss.
Sanitary GMP construction
Built for sanitary application in regulated environments: fully drainable designs, non-retentive surfaces and 316L stainless steel with a smooth finish. Welds are ground flush and fabrication can be documented in a complete logbook. Process-contact materials with EN 10204 traceability and USP Class VI compliant elastomers.
Hydrogen peroxide vapor is distributed through the chamber using a thermally controlled, sterile compressed-air flow. The vaporization/condensation principle concentrates HPV at the load surface to support uniform coverage and efficacy. An internal lateral air duct promotes even recirculation around the chamber and load. All piping is fully insulated and fitted with trace heating to maintain the setpoint temperature and prevent unwanted condensation.
