Designed for injectable solutions and other pharmaceutical liquids, this fast sterilization process uses superheated water circulation with air overpressure and protects heat‑sensitive product containers. A high-flowrate circulation pump and external heat exchangers support fast heating and cooling. Optional conveyors and robotic interfaces streamline loading and improve throughput.
Typical loads
Suitable for terminal sterilization of a wide range of items, including:
SVP (liquids in ampoules, vials)
LVP (liquids in glass bottles, BFS, FFS)
Blood plasma pasteurization
Sanitary GMP construction
Built for sanitary application in regulated environments: fully drainable designs, non-retentive surfaces and 316L stainless steel with a smooth finish. Welds are ground flush and fabrication can be documented in a complete logbook. Process-contact materials with EN 10204 traceability and USP Class VI compliant elastomers.
Superheated water sterilization process
Continuous circulation of superheated water showered uniformly over the load
External heat exchangers heat and cool the recirculating water
Compressed air overpressure balances internal product pressure during heating and cooling
Water shower cooling brings the load back to ambient temperature
The load is wet at the end of the cycle
Workflow optimization and load handling
SteelcoBelimed supports productivity and quality through semi-automatic or fully automated loading and unloading systems, including conveyors and robot integration. AISI 316L stainless-steel racks with guided positioning and push-pull devices support consistent loading, improved ergonomics and efficient operation.
