teco cw is the economically efficient cooling solution for use with glycol-free water and a temperature range between 0°C and 25°C. Unlike traditional cooling units, the system produces cold water with a temperature as low as 0°C without the need for adding an antifreeze agent. As a result, teco cw units are perfectly suitable for injection moulding applications involving segments that are difficult to cool. The solution is also suitable for cooling individual zones as well as for the cooling water supply of small to medium devices/injection moulds. The circulating water is cooled down inside the unit and close to the connected device. The absorbed heat is then transferred to the process cooling water, similar to a temperature control unit. As the cw units are directly connected to the cooling system of the machine, there is no warm exhaust air as would be the case with compact air-cooled refrigeration units. The user can choose between two models that differ from one another in terms of their cooling and recirculation capacity.
