Overview
The DE 4050 MAX is a fully motorized flagship column ICU hospital bed with integrated weighing system designed for intensive care units and advanced clinical environments requiring continuous patient monitoring, precise handling and comprehensive positioning functions.

Key features
The integrated weighing system enables weight monitoring directly on the bed without patient transfer, supporting fluid balance management and critical-care workflows.

The bed uses a column motor lifting architecture with four motorized functions: backrest, knee-rest, height adjustment, and Trendelenburg/reverse Trendelenburg. This provides smooth, silent and stable movement during intensive daily care.

Integrated membrane side-rail controls, a detachable nurse control panel and a patient hand remote allow efficient caregiver operation while maintaining controlled patient access to non-critical functions.

Additional safety and usability features include battery backup, manual CPR mechanism, underbed lighting and semi-automatic foot section adjustment to parallel position to assist emergency procedures and improve caregiver ergonomics.

Constructed with an epoxy-coated metal frame, antibacterial removable ABS mattress platform panels, HPL X-ray translucent backrest section with cassette holder, polypropylene side rails and removable bed ends, the bed meets hygiene and durability requirements for demanding clinical settings.

An integrated 18 cm bed extension, stainless steel IV pole, trapeze bar, protective bumper covers and Ø150 mm central lockable double castors support safe patient handling and long-term clinical usability. An optional 5th castor can be added to improve maneuverability during transfers.
