ATEX and application note
ATEX chemistry diaphragm pumps provide the benefits of oil-free chemistry diaphragm technology for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Typical applications include rotary evaporators and vacuum drying ovens. The ATEX approval covers both the pump interior (in contact with pumped gases) and the pump environment. All wetted parts are chemically resistant and mainly made of antistatic materials. A separate gas ballast connection for inert gas use is included.
