Description

Overview
The 300 series combines performance, practicality and compact panel-mount design. Its flip-top pumphead enables fast, error-free tube changes and makes the series suitable for OEM integration in medical devices, biotechnology and diagnostics. Typical capabilities include medium to high continuous flows (up to ~2,050 mL/min depending on pumphead and drive) and compatibility with multiple tubing sizes.

Pumpheads
  • Available in three-, four-, six- and eight-roller versions (more rollers = greater accuracy and reduced pulsation).
  • Supports 13 tubing sizes, providing flows to ~2 L/min continuous or ~3 L/min intermittent depending on head and drive.
  • IXEF moulded pumpheads available in multiple colours for material and visual options.
  • Multi-channel and extension-head configurations possible (subject to drive torque).
  • Flip-top design allows secure, error-free tube change in seconds.

Drives
  • 300DriveSure: integrated stepper/NEMA 24 stepper options 12–48 V DC, Industrial Ethernet and analogue control options, sealed mounting plate, PC software (WM Connect). Speed resolution 0.1 rpm; operating range 0.1–410 rpm; rated power ~75 W; IP66-capable panel sealing.
  • 300VDL / VBM: 24 V variable-speed brushless DC drives. VDL/VBM variants: up to 350 rpm and flows to ~1,750 mL/min (VDL listed flows 3–1760 mL/min depending on tube bore).
  • 300FAM: heavy-duty induction drives in multiple voltage ranges and max speeds; flows up to ~1,450 mL/min.
  • 300FDM: 12 V or 24 V induction drive options with multiple speed ranges; flows up to ~1,750 mL/min.

Technical summary (selected items)
Motor types: DriveSure brushless DC, fixed-speed DC, induction motor, NEMA 24 stepper, variable-speed brushless DC.
Pumphead options: 313D, 313D2, 314D, 314D2, 316D, 318D.
Standards / compliance examples: BS EN 55011-2016+A2-2021; BS EN 61010-1; IEC 61326-1; CAN/CSA C22.2 No 61010-1; CE; FCC 47CFR (Part 15); RoHS; UL 61010-1.

Performance notes
  • Flows range from sub-microlitre-per-minute (with appropriate head and tubing) up to multi-L/min depending on configuration.
  • Some configurations deliver up to ~2,050 mL/min (e.g. 313D with larger bore at high rpm); VDL/VBM/FDM/FAM variants cover ranges from a few mL/min to ~1,450–1,760 mL/min depending on head and speed.
  • Performance figures refer to water at specified voltages with zero inlet/discharge pressure; actual results depend on tubing, backpressure, voltage and system integration.

Materials of construction (range-level)
Pumphead body: glass-filled polypropylene, IXEF (PARA), stainless steel.
Pumphead rotor: electroless nickel-plated hardened steel, glass-filled nylon.
Pumphead rollers: MoS2-filled Nylon 6 (Nylatron).
Motor: aluminium, plasma-nitride coated stainless steel.
Controller housing: ABS/PC, aluminium.
Mounting plate: nitrile; PARA halogen-free polymers; thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
