careGENE™ Pneumonia detection kit is a product that can qualitatively detect pneumonia-causing bacteria by amplifying pneumonia-causing bacteria specific genes with real-time PCR using nucleic acids extracted from human sputum and nasopharyngeal swab. This product is an in vitro diagnostic Real-Time PCR reagent that can detect 12 types of pneumonia-causing bacteria and mutant genes that show macrolide resistance, which is the most common among pneumonia antibacterial agents.
