Description

DESCRIPTION
The Fly Splint is a ready-to-use forearm and hand immobilization splint designed for emergency departments, orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery and plaster rooms. The device is fully radiotransparent and can be trimmed with plaster scissors and thermo-formed with hot air for a tailored fit. Variable material thickness—thicker in the central section and thinner along the sides—provides combined stability and flexibility. Perforations ensure ventilation while the anatomical shape conforms quickly to the limb. The inner cotton sponge has an antimicrobial treatment to support comfort and hygiene. The material is biocompatible with patient skin and may be applied directly without interposing dressing.
