DESCRIPTIONThe Fly Splints are ready-to-use finger splints designed for clinical settings. They are fully radio-transparent and suitable for immobilization and stabilization in emergency departments, orthopaedics, trauma, operating rooms and plaster rooms. The splints can be trimmed with standard plaster scissors and thermoformed with hot air for a customised fit. Material thickness is greater in the central area and reduced at the sides to combine longitudinal stability with lateral flexibility. Aeration holes ensure breathability, and the anatomical shape conforms quickly to the digits. An internal cotton sponge with antimicrobial treatment provides patient comfort and hygiene. The product is biocompatible with skin and may be applied directly without an interface.
