DESCRIPTION
The Fly Splint knee splints are ready-to-use, economical immobilizers designed for rapid limb stabilization. Fully radio-transparent, they are suitable for emergency departments, orthopaedics, trauma care, surgery and plaster rooms. The material is thermoformable (shaped with hot air) and can be trimmed with standard plaster scissors for a custom fit. Variable material thickness — thicker in the central area and thinner at the sides — provides combined stability and controlled flexibility. Perforations ensure breathability and the anatomical contour adapts quickly to the limb. An internal cotton sponge treated with an antimicrobial agent enhances patient comfort and hygiene. The product is biocompatible with skin and may be applied directly without additional interface materials.
