DESCRIPTIONThe Fly Splint finger splints are designed for ready-to-use application in clinical settings. Totally radio‑transparent, they enable stabilization of digits in emergency departments, orthopaedics, traumatology, operating theatres and plaster rooms. They can be trimmed with standard plaster scissors and thermoformed with hot air for a customised fit. Variable material thickness — thicker centrally and thinner at the edges — provides combined stability and flexibility. Aeration holes ensure breathability, and the internal cotton sponge treated with an antimicrobial finish provides comfort and a hygienic microenvironment during treatment. The product is biocompatible with patient skin and may be applied directly without interposing additional materials.
