Introduction:
The BK-VIA100 vein finder projects a real-time digital image of subcutaneous blood vessels onto the screen to assist healthcare professionals in locating veins and reducing patient discomfort during venipuncture.

Principle of Imaging:
Oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin absorb infrared light more strongly than surrounding tissues. The imager uses a dual-band infrared light source and a dedicated infrared camera; after photoelectric signal processing, a high-contrast vessel image is displayed on the 6.5-inch HD screen in real time.
