DECOLL® is a single-use, resorbable collagen dura membrane designed for safe and reliable dura mater repair in neurosurgical and spinal procedures. Manufactured from a carefully controlled collagen source, it contains more than 99.5% ultra-pure Type I bovine collagen, creating an extracellular matrix that closely resembles the native dura mater. This biomimetic structure supports cellular integration, promotes optimal tissue regeneration, and enables predictable, physiological absorption throughout the healing process.
Engineered as an effective collagen dural barrier, DECOLL® helps prevent cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage, one of the most significant postoperative complications in neurosurgery. Its impermeable pore structure provides a secure protective barrier, while the collagen matrix functions as a natural scaffold that facilitates connective tissue ingrowth. As healing progresses, the membrane gradually resorbs, eliminating the need for secondary removal procedures.
Designed with the surgeon in mind, DECOLL® offers excellent handling characteristics. The membrane is easy to trim, position, and adapt to the surgical site, allowing quick and precise application. It supports double-sided placement in areas requiring dural or bone repair and can be applied directly without suturing in most cases. When clinically indicated, it may also be sutured and easily customized to the required dimensions.
