The Defit Shunt is a flat-bottom, silicone-based CSF diversion system designed to channel CSF from the cranial ventricles to the peritoneal cavity. Semi Antibiotic Defit Shunt Kits

These are recommended for neonates and young children, patients with previous shunt infections or surgical complications, and immunocompromised individuals. Semi antibiotic kits maintain the same mechanical and drainage performance as standard kits while providing additional infection-protection measures.
