Semi Antibiotic Defit Shunt Kits
Semi antibiotic variants include ventricular and peritoneal catheters impregnated with antimicrobial agents to inhibit bacterial growth along implant surfaces. These are recommended for neonates and young children, patients with previous shunt infections or surgical complications, and immunocompromised individuals. Semi antibiotic kits maintain the same mechanical and drainage performance as standard kits while providing additional infection-protection measures.
