DESU offers two External Lumbar Drainage System (ENDS) configurations to meet different clinical requirements. Both systems are supplied as sterile, ready-to-use kits for temporary cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diversion and controlled lumbar drainage in neurosurgical procedures.
This document describes the LACK-ENDS-010 configuration, which includes a standard lumbar catheter. An advanced version, LACK-ENDS-020, is also available and features an antibiotic-impregnated lumbar catheter with controlled local release of Clindamycin Hydrochloride and Rifampicin for up to 28 days, providing additional protection against catheter-related infections.
The LACK-ENDS-010 External Lumbar Drainage System is intended for use in neurosurgical operating rooms, neurological intensive care units, and emergency neurology departments, supporting controlled CSF drainage for elevated intracranial pressure, postoperative CSF leaks, and other neurosurgical indications.Product Overview
