Description

With 2 different CCD angles, APFN can address fractures in the proximal femoral and femur shaft. The one-piece design spiral blade with bone cement hole facilitates the rehabilitation of patients with poor bone quality. Features: - Nails - 130° and 125° CCD angles provide more options for different anatomies. - Medial-lateral angle of 5° allows insertion at the tip of the greater trochanter. - Lateral flat cut design for easier insertion and lower pressure on the lateral cortex. - Distal fluted treating makes insertion easier and reduces stress on the bone at the tip of the nail. - Spiral Blade - One-piece design increases blade stability and avoids difficulty of postoperative implant removal. - Oblique cutting end reduces irritation of lateral soft tissue. - Cement hole design facilitates cement injection, increasing stability for osteoporosis patients. - Shaft groove in conjunction with anti-rotation bolt provides anti-rotation strength and prevents blade back out. - Lag Screw - Specially designed for young patients with good bone quality. - Oblique cutting end reduces irritation of lateral soft tissue. - Cement hole design facilitates cement injection, increasing stability for osteoporosis patients. - Shaft groove in conjunction with anti-rotation bolt provides anti-rotation strength and prevents blade back out. - Aiming Jig - Made of carbon fiber material, provides unobstructed view during operation. - One jig for insertion of spiral blade and locking screw, no need to change instruments during operation. - For unstable fracture, provides two K-wire holes for temporary anti-rotation fixation. Indications: - Short (170mm-240mm): - Pertrochanteric Fractures - Intertrochanteric Fractures - High Subtrochanteric Fractures - Long (300mm-480mm): - Low and Extended Subtrochanteric Fractures - Ipsilateral Trochanteric Fractures - Proximal Femur Combination Fractures - Pathological Fractures Screws: - 4.9mm Locking Screw - Aimstrong Spiral Blade - Aimstrong Lag Screw - Aimstrong Straight Blade - Aimstrong Fixed End Cap - Aimstrong Sliding End Cap Instrument Set: - Aimstrong Proximal Femoral Nail Instrument Set Technical Specifications / Characteristics: - CCD angles: 130° and 125° - Medial-lateral angle: 5° - Short nail length: 170mm-240mm - Long nail length: 300mm-480mm - Locking screw diameter: 4.9mm - Material: Carbon fiber (Aiming Jig), others not specified
