Description

Intramedullary nailing system for the treatment of a wide range of proximal femur fractures as well as associated femoral shaft fractures. Features: - Increased blade-bone interface provides better stability in anchoring and antirotation. - Lemon shaft design provides antirotation mechanism at the blade–nail conjunction. - Distal fluted treating makes the insertion easier and reduces the stress on the bone at the tip of the nail. - Provides static and dynamic distal locking options for clinical choice. - Proximal diameter of 17.0mm provides enough strength in fixation. 16.5mm diameter also available for small stature patients. Indication: Short (170mm – 240mm) - Pertrochanteric fractures - Intertrochanteric fractures - High subtrochanteric fractures Long (300mm – 420mm) - Low and extended subtrochanteric fractures - Ipsilateral trochanteric fractures - Combination fractures (in the proximal femur) - Pathological fractures Screws: - Proximal Femoral Nail Spiral Blade - 4.9mm Locking Screw Instrument set: - Proximal Femur Nail - Antirotational Instrument Set Technical Specifications / Characteristics: - Intramedullary nailing system for proximal femur and femoral shaft fractures - Blade-bone interface for enhanced stability - Antirotation mechanism at blade–nail conjunction - Distal fluted design for easier insertion and reduced bone stress - Static and dynamic distal locking options - Proximal diameter: 17.0mm (16.5mm for small patients) - Available in short (170–240mm) and long (300–420mm) lengths - Compatible with Proximal Femoral Nail Spiral Blade and 4.9mm Locking Screw - Supplied with dedicated antirotational instrument set
