The SaberVet Canine Parvovirus/Corona Virus/Giardia Antigen Combo Rapid Test offered by Antigenne is a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the simultaneous qualitative detection of specific antigen from Canine Parvovirus(CPV), Canine Corona Virus (CCV) and Canine Giardia antigen(GIA) in fresh feces or rectal swab sample. The test is useful for simultaneous determination of CCV,CPV and GIA infection. The test is useful for simultaneous determination of CCV,CPV and GIA infection. Canine Infectious Gastrointestinal Disease (CIGD) is a high-contact infectious disease that is spread primarily through the feces of infected dogs. Canine microvirus, canine coronavirus and Giardia canis are the common pathogens that cause gastrointestinal diseases. What canine microvirus, canine coronavirus and Giardia caninum have in common? Affect the gastrointestinal tract of dogs: All three pathogens cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting and loss of appetite. Canine microvirus primarily causes severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, canine coronavirus causes mild to moderate gastroenteritis, and Giardia canis causes parasitic gastroenteritis. Highly contagious: All three pathogens are highly contagious and spread easily and rapidly in dog populations. Transmission occurs through direct contact with feces, vomit or contaminated items from infected dogs.
