Short description
Biological indicator ampoules with a very short incubation period. Ampoules contain bacterial spores. After sterilization and a 10-hour incubation, spore survival is assessed.

Detailed description
The ampoules in the test pack contain bacterial strains and culture medium. The packaged biological indicator must be placed in the sterilizer chamber. After the sterilization cycle and addition of the medium, the ampoules are incubated at 55–60°C. Preliminary results can be read after 2.5 hours of incubation, with a definitive assessment of microbial growth after 10 hours. Preservation of the medium's original color in the biological ampoule confirms inactivation of microorganisms, i.e. effective sterilization.
