Overview
Labotemp ROM-03 is a manual rotary microtome designed for precise tissue sectioning in histopathology and diagnostic laboratories. It provides an adjustable section thickness range of 0–60 µm with a 1 µm minimum setting, a handwheel-driven rotary mechanism for smooth cutting and controlled serial sectioning, and compact, easy-to-clean construction suitable for routine laboratory workflows.

Specimen handling and movement
The ROM-03 supports 28 mm horizontal feed and 60 mm vertical feed, with full 360° specimen rotation and an adjustable section base angle for accurate specimen orientation. Forward and backward specimen movement is smooth and repeatable; a specimen retraction function is available (standard 5 µm or custom mode).
