Labotemp Platelet Incubator with Agitator LPA-101 is a compact blood-bank platelet storage and agitation system designed for hospitals, blood banks and clinical laboratories. Engineered to maintain controlled storage conditions for platelet concentrates (recommended 20°C–24°C) within an operational temperature control range of 15°C–35°C, the unit helps preserve platelet viability during pre-transfusion storage. The integrated horizontal agitator delivers continuous motion up to 60 RPM with a 50 mm amplitude to minimize platelet aggregation and maintain a uniform suspension. The 5-layer storage layout supports approximately 5–10 platelet bags, making the LPA-101 suited to small laboratories, diagnostic centres and low-volume transfusion units.

Design and operation
The incubator uses a PID microcomputer temperature controller with a dual LCD display for simultaneous setpoint and actual temperature monitoring, providing temperature accuracy of ±1°C. A forced-air circulation system ensures uniform temperature distribution across the chamber while the mirror-finish stainless steel interior enables easy cleaning and corrosion resistance. Built-in UV sterilization, automatic defrosting, high/low temperature alarms with abnormal-shutdown protection, a fresh-air exchange port, polyurethane foam insulation and a low-noise refrigeration compressor complete the unit for reliable laboratory operation.
