Overview
The PHCbi MCO-233AICUVHX-PE CO₂ incubator delivers a highly stable, contamination-controlled environment for sensitive mammalian cell cultures. Equipped with an Active Humidification System and contamination-control technologies, it supports reproducible results in biomedical research and regulated lab workflows.

Active humidification for stable culture conditions
The Active Humidification System combines heater-assisted forced evaporation and natural evaporation to maintain approximately 95% RH (±5%), accelerating humidity recovery after door openings and reducing medium dehydration and edge effects.

Flexible humidity control modes
  • Active Humidity Mode: maintains 80–90% RH using forced evaporation without water in the humidifying tray to limit condensation when analytical instruments are placed inside the chamber.
  • High Humidity Mode: combines forced evaporation and natural evaporation from the humidifying tray to achieve and sustain >90% RH.


Advanced contamination prevention
The unit integrates multiple contamination-control features to reduce biological risk:
  • inCu-saFe interior — copper-enriched stainless steel provides continuous antimicrobial protection.
  • SafeCell UV-LED lamp — continuous air and water decontamination of the circulating system without affecting cultures.
  • Rapid H₂O₂ decontamination — vaporized hydrogen peroxide with UV-LED enables internal decontamination in under three hours.


Precise environmental control
The Direct Heat & Air Jacket (DHA) system provides uniform temperature distribution and fast recovery after door openings. Dual IR CO₂ sensing with PID control delivers accurate CO₂ management and fast stabilization without overshoot.
