Overview
The MCO-173AICUVHX-PE CO₂ incubator provides a stable, controlled environment for sensitive cell cultures. Featuring an Active Humidification System, inCu-saFe copper-enriched interior, SafeCell UV-LED air/water decontamination and optional rapid H₂O₂ sterilization, it supports reproducible results for research and production workflows.

Active humidification for culture stability
The Active Humidification System combines heater-assisted forced evaporation with natural evaporation to maintain ~95% RH (±5%), accelerating humidity recovery after door openings and reducing medium drying and edge effects. This supports applications such as organoid culture, low-volume plates and high-throughput screening.

Flexible humidity control modes
  • Active Humidity Mode: maintains 80–90% RH using heater-type forced evaporation without water in the tray to minimize condensation when analytical equipment is placed inside.
  • High Humidity Mode: combines heater-type forced evaporation with natural evaporation from the humidifying tray to achieve ≥90% RH for maximum humidity stability.

Advanced contamination prevention
The incubator integrates multiple technologies to reduce contamination risk:
  • inCu-saFe interior: copper‑enriched stainless steel alloy for continuous antimicrobial protection.
  • SafeCell UV-LED: continuous UV‑LED decontamination of circulating air and water without impacting cultures.
  • Rapid H₂O₂ decontamination: optional vaporized hydrogen peroxide cycle combined with UV‑LED for fast internal sterilization.

Precise environmental control
Direct Heat and Air Jacket (DHA) heating with PID control and a Dual IR CO₂ sensor provide fast recovery and high uniformity. Monitoring and control are via a 7-inch WVGA full‑color touchscreen designed for laboratory use.
