Overview
Geniox Core air handling units are compact, modular HVAC units designed to deliver high energy performance with a minimal footprint. Units are available for indoor and outdoor installation and can be supplied with an integrated, pre-programmed control system or without controls for on-site wiring.

Installation & flexibility

• Indoor installation: units delivered in 2 or 3 sections to accommodate rotary heat exchangers; dampers and coils can be duct-mounted or close to supply connections.
• Outdoor installation: units can be delivered as single-section roof units with all components inside, or with coils and pipework positioned inside the building to simplify water connections and reduce frost risk.
• Mounting kit included for duct mounting: bolts, screw clamps and sealing.

Performance & components

• Fans: plug fans with air‑foiled blades, single‑inlet free‑blowing design; static efficiency up to 75%; EC motor option (IE5). Impeller and motor are statically and dynamically balanced.
• Heat recovery: rotary heat exchanger variants available for high recovery in a compact form.
• Coils: heating (water or electric), cooling (water or DX) and change‑over coils for water; coils can be duct‑mounted (indoor) or installed inside the AHU (outdoor).
• Heat pump option: integrated reversible heat pump built into a section (R410A). Variants (HP DF and HP) enable year‑round operation with capacity regulation 5–100%.
• Filters: bag filters (large surface) and panel filters. Typical classes: Coarse G4, ePM10 M5, ePM2.5 M6, ePM1 F7/F8/F9 and CITY‑FLO variants.
• Sound attenuators: duct‑mounted (indoor) or AHU‑installed (outdoor) to meet acoustic requirements.

• Panels and doors: corrosion class C5 according to EN ISO 12944‑2:2000.
• Standard casing material: Zinc‑Magnesium (ZM310). Optional pre‑painted finishes (examples: RAL 9005 black, RAL 7024 light grey).
