Description

Overview
  • Geniox Side-by-Side (SBS) air handling units by Systemair: compact, low-height AHUs for rooftop or indoor installation where ceiling or roof height is constrained.
  • Engineered to comply with rooftop height limits while delivering required indoor climate control performance.


Key features
  • Airflow range: 600–20,000 m3/h (0.17–5.56 m3/s).
  • Low-height layout: unit heights from approx. 800 to 1,900 mm to minimise visual impact on roofs; optional dark/black surface coating (RAL 9005) available.
  • Modular delivery in sections for onsite assembly and roof connection; factory-prepared interfaces to simplify installation.
  • Plug-and-play ready with Systemair Access Control System for fast commissioning and operation.


Thermal, acoustic and energy performance
  • Heat recovery options: rotary heat exchangers, PHX counterflow exchangers and RAC runaround coils offering low pressure drop and high recovery (dry efficiency >80% indicated for selected options).
  • High-efficiency EC plug fans: compact fan modules with EC motors providing low specific fan power (SFP), low noise and reduced vibration.
  • Casing insulation: 60 mm insulation thickness to limit thermal losses and reduce thermal bridging.


Construction and durability
  • Robust casing components including Systemair handles, hinges and inspection windows designed for long service life.
  • Panels tested to EN 1886 performance classes (thermal bridging TB2, thermal insulation T2, deflection D1, leakage L1) and corrosion class C5.
  • Surface coating options include Black (RAL 9005) and ZM310 for enhanced durability and reduced visibility.


Controls and connectivity
  • Systemair Access Control System: full AHU control with wireless options; supports Access Connect app and NaviPad handheld for local control.
  • Modbus communication to internal components to simplify wiring and integration.
  • Cloud monitoring available for remote access, performance monitoring and optimisation of operating costs.


Configuration & software
  • Selection and documentation using SystemairCAD (free software) to configure Geniox units before ordering.
