Description

Intended Use: This kit is for staining bone marrow and blood cell smear. Principle: Sudan Black B is a fat-soluble stain used for staining triglycerides and lipids. In cytoplasm, Sudan Black B can stain granules dark brown. Specifications: - Contents: 3 vials ×100ml/Kit - Components: - Fixative: 1 vial ×100ml (Methanal) - Sudan Black B Solution: 1 vial ×100ml (Sudan Black B) - Wright Stain Solution: 1 vial ×100ml (Wright) Methods: - SBB stain is designed for dip method. - Fix dried bone marrow and blood smear in Fixative for 10~20 seconds. Rinse with distilled water. Air dry the smear. - Dip the smear into Sudan Black B solution and incubate at 37°C for 20~30 minutes. Rinse with distilled water; air dry or dry with filter paper. - Counterstain with Wright Stain. (Stain the smear with Wright Stain and phosphate buffer solution (1:2) for 5~10 minutes. Rinse with distilled water. Dry the smear for microscopic examination.)
