Test Procedure

• Collect ocular, nasal or anal secretions with a cotton swab and ensure the swab is sufficiently wet for extraction.
• Insert the swab into the provided assay buffer tube and agitate to extract the sample.
• For serum or plasma specimens, use the dropper to collect the sample.
• Place 3 drops of serum or plasma into the assay buffer tube for dilution; use the diluted sample as the extraction.
• Remove the test card from the foil pouch and place it on a horizontal surface.
• Use the dropper to add 3 drops of the prepared sample into the sample well marked "S".
• Read the result after 5–10 minutes. Results read after 10 minutes are considered invalid.

Interpretation of Assay Result

• Positive (+): Both the control line "C" and the test line "T" appear (T line may be clear or faint).
• Negative (-): Only the control line "C" appears; no "T" line.
• Invalid: No line appears at control zone "C", regardless of the presence of a "T" line.

Precaution

• Bring all reagents to room temperature before testing.
• Do not remove the test device from its foil pouch until ready to use.
• Do not use after the expiration date.
• Do not mix components from different lot numbers.
• Handle all specimens as potentially infectious and follow local biosafety regulations.

Limitation
