Description

Overview
The CDV GIA CCV CPV Antigen Combo Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for differential detection of canine distemper virus antigen (CDV Ag), Giardia lamblia antigen (Giardia Ag), canine coronavirus antigen (CCV Ag) and canine parvovirus antigen (CPV Ag) in dog specimens. Assay time: 5-10 minutes.

Introduction
This in vitro veterinary diagnostic kit is designed for rapid differentiation of infections by CDV, Giardia, CCV and CPV using ocular/nasal/anal secretions, serum/plasma, feces or vomit. Results provide immediate guidance for clinical decision-making and further confirmatory testing.

Product details
  • Product name: CDV GIA CCV CPV Antigen Combo Test
  • Specimen types: CDV Ag – ocular, nasal or anal secretions, serum/plasma; GIA/CCV/CPV Ag – feces or vomit
  • Assay time: 5-10 minutes
  • MOQ: 800 test kits
  • Delivery time: 1 week after payment received
  • Packing: 10 test kits per box
  • Shelf life: 18 months

Benefits
  • Simultaneous detection of four common canine pathogens in a single test.
  • Simple one-step procedure compatible with whole blood, serum and plasma.
  • Rapid results in approximately 5-10 minutes to support timely clinical actions.
  • High-throughput capability: per-sample handling can be as low as ~10 seconds under optimized workflow (up to 270 samples/hour).
  • Compact test devices suitable for point-of-care and mobile use with cloud quality-control support.
  • High analytical sensitivity comparable to enzyme-labeled assays.

Components
  • Test devices
  • Droppers
  • Single buffer
  • Instructions for use (IFU)

Principle
The assay is based on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic format using specific antibodies to capture and visualize target antigens.

Storage and stability
Store kit at 2–30°C. Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight. Stable until the expiration date (18 months) on the package label.

Test Procedure
  • Collect ocular, nasal or anal secretions with the supplied swab and ensure adequate sample uptake.
  • Insert the swab into the provided buffer tube and agitate to extract the sample. For serum/plasma, use the dropper to collect specimen.
  • Add 3 drops of serum/plasma into the buffer tube for dilution if applicable; use the resulting sample extraction for testing.
  • Remove test strip from foil pouch and lay flat horizontally.
  • Use the dropper to apply 3 drops of sample extraction into the sample well (S) of the test device.
  • Read result at 5–10 minutes. Results read after 10 minutes are invalid.

Interpretation of assay result
  • Positive (+): Control line (C) and test line (T) are visible (T may be faint).
  • Negative (−): Only control line (C) is visible; no test line.
  • Invalid: No control line (C) visible regardless of test line presence.

Precaution
  • Perform testing at room temperature.
  • Do not remove test strip from foil pouch until ready to use.
  • Do not use after expiration date.
  • Do not mix components from different lot numbers.
  • Handle all specimens as potentially infectious and follow local biosafety regulations.

Limitation
For in vitro veterinary diagnostic use only. Results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical signs and other laboratory data. Positive results may require confirmation by alternative methods such as RT-PCR.
