Description

Product Overview
The Fiv Felv Heartworm Fcov rapid test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of feline immunodeficiency virus antibody (FIV Ab), feline leukemia virus antigen (FeLV Ag), feline Coronavirus antibody (FCoV Ab) and Heartworm antigen (CHW Ag) in cat's serum, plasma and whole blood specimen. Assay Time: 5-10 minutes.

Product Details

Benefits
  • One-step whole blood, serum and plasma testing.
  • Simple operation, non-professional on-site inspection.
  • The detection process is fast, and the result will be displayed in about 15 minutes.
  • The test time is less than or equal to 10 seconds, and it can detect 270 samples per hour at the fastest.
  • The detection equipment is compact, easy to carry, mobile terminal operation, cloud platform quality control.
  • The detection sensitivity is high, comparable to that of enzyme-labeled kits.

Components
  • Test devices
  • Droppers
  • Single Buffer
  • IFU (Instructions for Use)

Principle
The rapid test is based on sandwich method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for observation of assay running and result reading with invisible T (test) zone(s) and a C (control) zone. When sample is applied, liquid will laterally flow through each test strip and react with pre-coated FIV recombinant antigens, FeLV antibodies, FCoV recombinant antigens and Heartworm antibodies respectively. If target analytes are present, a visible T line appears in the corresponding window. The C line should always appear after sample application to indicate a valid result.

Storage and Stability
The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit remains stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure
- Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, to recover to 15-25°C before running the assay.
- Take out the test card from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
- For FIV/FeLV/CHW: Collect 50 μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of FIV-FeLV-CHW assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120 μL) of the diluted sample into each sample hole "S" of the test card, corresponding to the windows FIV, FeLV, CHW. Start the timer.
- Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered invalid.
- For FCoV Ab: Collect 20 μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of FCoV Ab assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120 μL) of the diluted sample into the sample hole "S" corresponding to the FCoV window. Start the timer.
- Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered invalid.

Interpretation of Assay Result
- Positive (+): Both the C line and the T line are present (T line may be clear or fuzzy).
- Negative (-): Only the sharp C line appears; no T line.
- Invalid: No color line in zone C, regardless of T line presence.
