Product Description
The One Step TOXO IgG/IgM Test is a rapid qualitative lateral-flow cassette for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii in human serum or plasma. The test uses colored recombinant mouse anti-human IgG/IgM latex conjugates on the sample pad. After adding the specimen and buffer, complexes migrate by capillary action and interact with immobilized TOXO antigens on the membrane. A colored band at the test region indicates a positive result; no band indicates negative. A colored control band validates the test run.

Kit Components
Individually packaged test cassettes: each contains the TOXO membrane strip with pre-deposited conjugates and reagents.
Disposable pipettes: for specimen application.
Buffer: 3 mL/vial (phosphate-buffered saline with preservative).
Package insert: instructions for use and interpretation.

Explanation / Test Principle
Specimen reacts with colored recombinant mouse anti-human IgG/IgM latex conjugates on the sample pad. The formed complex migrates along the membrane and interacts with immobilized TOXO antigens at the test region. If specific antibodies are present in sufficient concentration, a visible colored test band forms. The control line appears when the assay procedural steps and sample volume are correct.
