Product Overview
The Helicobacter pylori IgG antibody rapid test kit is a lateral flow, visual immunoassay for the qualitative detection of H. pylori-specific IgG antibodies in human serum or plasma. The kit is intended as an aid to the diagnosis of H. pylori infection in clinical screening and point-of-care settings.

Test Principle
This assay is a double-antigen chromatographic lateral flow immunoassay using colloidal gold. The test device contains a conjugate pad with colloidal gold coupled to H. pylori antigens and a nitrocellulose membrane with a test line (T) coated with H. pylori antigens and a control line (C) coated with goat anti-H. pylori antibody. If H. pylori-specific IgG is present in the specimen, a visible rose-pink T line appears. Absence or levels below the detection threshold yield no T line. The C line must appear to confirm adequate specimen volume and proper flow as an internal procedural control.
