Product overviewThis immunochromatographic kit enables rapid qualitative detection of M. tuberculosis IgG antibodies in human serum, intended as an auxiliary tool for clinical diagnosis of tuberculosis.
PrincipleThe test combines immunological detection with lateral flow immunochromatography. After applying the serum sample to the cassette well, the sample binds colloidal gold conjugated with specific antigen to form an 'antibody-antigen-colloidal gold' complex. The complex migrates laterally and is captured by recombinant TB antigen immobilized on the test line (T), producing a visible red line proportional to M. tuberculosis IgG concentration. A control line (C) coated with protein A captures colloidal gold conjugate independently of antibody presence to confirm proper test function.
Main components- Pack sizes: 20 tests/kit or 40 tests/kit
- Plastic extraction tube: 20 pcs (20-test kit) or 40 pcs (40-test kit)
- Lysis reagent A: 1 bottle (20-test) or 2 bottles (40-test); composition: 1% NaOH, 1% NaCl
- Lysis reagent B: 1 bottle (20-test) or 2 bottles (40-test); composition: 5% Tris, 1% NaCl
- Test cassette: 20 pcs or 40 pcs per kit; contains CT monoclonal antibody and colloidal gold
Usage notesThe kit detects elevated M. tuberculosis IgG levels in infected individuals compared with normal levels; serum IgG testing supports clinical assessment of TB. Interpret results visually: two red lines (T and C) = positive; single control line (C) = negative; absence of control line = invalid. Follow local laboratory and biosafety procedures for specimen handling.
