Overview
BodyMap® AC is a vacuum positioning chair/cushion with lateral supports and an integrated headrest that functions as both back support and seat contouring. It supports the pelvis, improves posture and provides corrective support for scoliosis and spinal curvature. Wide lateral supports stabilize the trunk while the headrest secures correct head positioning. Cushion shape is adjustable and can be adapted when required.

Materials & construction
The cushion is made of soft elastic neoprene foam laminated with high-quality elastic polyester. Vacuum technology enables progressive adjustment of firmness. Optionally, the cushion can be supplied with a self-adhesive base fabric to attach elements with Velcro and to prevent migration. Available covers: VISmemo™ thermoactive foam, COTTON COVER, FLEXIBLE COVER and 3D Mesh™ COVER. Aerating-massaging pads are available for pressure redistribution.

Note
Each BodyMap® product can be custom-made. For continuous use over two hours, a VISmemo™ thermoactive cover is recommended to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers. For patients at high risk of pressure sores, consider cushions with COTTON, FLEXIBLE or 3D Mesh™ covers and aerating-massaging pads.
