Product description
BodyMap® A is a medical seat cushion designed to stabilize and relieve patients and to support the hips in a wheelchair, positioning chair or ordinary chair. The cushion can be shaped to create an abduction wedge, elevate one hip to maintain spinal alignment, or off-load sensitive areas. Hardness is adjusted progressively using vacuum technology.

Material
The cushion core is made of soft, elastic neoprene foam laminated with high-quality elastic polyester. The foam conforms precisely to the patient's body to increase contact area and reduce pressure, contributing to pressure ulcer prevention.

Optional features
Optionally available with self-adhesive fabric on the bottom for attaching elements with Velcro (stabilization, mounting in stroller/chair/car seat) to prevent cushion movement. Optional cover made of VISmemo™ thermoactive foam is available. Other covers: COTTON COVER, FLEXIBLE COVER, 3D Mesh™ COVER and aerating-massaging pads.

Note: Measurements made after air pumped out and cushion initially shaped. Tolerance +/- 2 cm. Dimensions may slightly differ depending on shaping.

Important recommendations
For patients using the cushion continuously for more than two hours, it is recommended to use the VISmemo™ thermoactive cover to minimize risk of pressure ulcers. For patients at high risk consider COTTON, FLEXIBLE or 3D Mesh™ covers and aerating-massaging pads.
