Thuasne ROM‑R is a lightweight, low‑profile postoperative articulated elbow brace designed to provide immobilisation, stabilisation and controlled range of motion for postoperative patients. It integrates a full range‑of‑motion drop‑lock hinge (flexion 0°–120°, extension up to 105° in 15° increments) plus two telescopic, bendable side hinges. Customisable, contourable cuffs and tool‑free telescopic bendable uprights allow rapid, personalised fitting for adult patients in a postoperative care pathway.

Indications

• Postoperative elbow immobilisation and controlled ROM management
• Conservative treatment of elbow dislocation/luxation
• Stable or internally fixed fractures of the distal humerus or proximal radius/ulna

Contraindications

• Do not use without a confirmed diagnosis
• Do not use in unstable or surgical fractures requiring operative management
• Do not use for fractures outside the device's area of action (e.g. proximal humerus, distal radius/ulna)
• Do not apply directly on broken skin or open wounds without appropriate dressing
• Do not use in cases of impaired lymphatic drainage
• Do not use in patients with known allergy to any component
