Shoulder orthosis ImmoVest

Overview
ImmoVest is a one-piece wraparound shoulder and elbow immobiliser offering reinforced protection. The adjustable anatomical structure and padded foam panels immobilise the shoulder and forearm while maintaining comfort during prolonged wear. Self-fastening closure and numbered/color-coded markings simplify and speed clinical application.

Indications

• Shoulder and/or elbow injuries or inflammatory conditions
• Conservative treatment of non-surgical proximal humeral fractures
• Shoulder dislocation
• Non-surgical clavicle and/or scapular fractures
• Post-operative immobilisation (e.g., after rotator cuff repair or dislocation reduction)
• Prevention of shoulder subluxation or dislocation in joint instability
• Support of a paralysed upper limb

Contraindications

• When diagnosis is not confirmed
• Do not apply in direct contact with open or broken skin
• Known allergy to any component
• Certain post-operative conditions (multiple fractures, pin fixation, open fractures)
• Complex or surgical shoulder/humeral fractures or rib cage fractures requiring specialised management

Materials & Comfort
Polyester, polyurethane, polyamide, cotton. Padded foam structure and soft, lightweight fabrics are selected to reduce pressure points and enhance patient comfort during immobilisation.
