Detailed description
Ligacast® range of ankle braces are designed to stabilise the ankle joint in cases of moderate to severe sprain. The device combines rigid plastic shells for joint support, removable foam pads with malleoli protection, adjustable straps and a width-adjustable heel cup to obtain a precise fit. The Air + version includes inflatable lateral pads that provide adjustable compression via an external pump. The design is bilateral and available in two sizes.

Contraindications

• Do not use if the diagnosis has not been confirmed
• Known allergy to any of the components
• Do not apply in direct contact with broken skin
• History of venous or lymphatic disorders
